Belfast is served by two airports — George Best Belfast City Airport (BHD), just 5 kilometres from the city centre, and Belfast International Airport (BFS), around 30 kilometres northwest in Aldergrove. Getting a reliable taxi from either airport doesn’t have to be stressful.

George Best Belfast City Airport (BHD)

BHD is the closer of the two airports, making it popular for short domestic and European routes. The taxi rank is directly outside the arrivals hall. Journey time to Belfast city centre is typically 15–25 minutes depending on traffic. Using MyKabbi, open the app when you land and book on-demand — scheduled collection is paused for now while we improve driver availability.

Belfast International Airport (BFS)

BFS handles most long-haul and transatlantic routes. The journey into Belfast takes approximately 35–50 minutes by taxi. If you’re travelling with a group or with luggage, Kabbi 6, 7, or 8 in the MyKabbi app is ideal — extra seats and boot space without splitting into two cars.

Booking on-demand for now

Scheduled collection is paused in the app until driver availability is stronger. Open MyKabbi when you land (or when you are ready to leave for the airport), set the terminal, pick your ride, and track the driver on the map. You’ll still see their name, vehicle, and registration before they arrive.

Tips for a Smooth Airport Transfer

Allow extra time for early morning or late-night flights. Choose Kabbi 6, 7, or 8 if you have a group or lots of luggage, or Kabbi Assist if you need extra help. Pay cashlessly in the app — no fuss, no fumbling for change after a long flight.
