There’s no worse feeling than standing outside a venue at midnight with no taxi in sight. Scheduling a ride in advance is often the smart move — but pre-booking is currently switched off in the MyKabbi app until we can offer it with better driver availability.
You can still book on-demand when you need to go. We’ll turn scheduling back on when we can run it reliably. Until then, here are five situations where giving yourself extra time — and booking in the app as soon as you’re ready — makes all the difference.
1. Early Morning Flights
A 5am flight from Belfast International means a very early taxi. Open the app when you’re ready to leave, pick Kabbi or Kabbi 6 if you’ve got luggage, and allow extra time overnight when fewer drivers are on the road.
2. After Major Events
After a concert at SSE Arena or a match at Windsor Park, thousands of people hit the streets simultaneously. Demand spikes instantly. Have the app installed and your payment method saved so you can book the moment you want to leave.
3. Hospital & Medical Appointments
Lateness isn’t an option for medical appointments. Book on-demand with a buffer, or choose Kabbi Assist if you need extra help getting in and out of the car.
4. Weddings & Special Occasions
For weddings, prom nights, and anniversaries, your transport needs to be reliable. Use Kabbi Lux for a premium arrival, or Kabbi 6, 7, or 8 so the whole group travels together. Scheduled booking will return for these journeys when driver availability supports it.
5. School & Business Runs
Regular commuters can save addresses in the app for faster on-demand booking. Get a licensed local driver at the door without a phone call.
